Sisira was injured when he was crushed by falling soil in a well he was digging. As a result, he sustained a spinal cord injury and became a paraplegic.

Soon after his accident, Sisira visited Motivation’s Kiribathgoda Centre. After assessing his physical, clinical and living conditions, the Motivation team provided Sisira with a Motivation Rough Terrain Wheelchair.

Since receiving his wheelchair and training, Sisira has gone on to get a job as a field reporter. He wishes to express his “thanks to everybody of the Motivation team.”
