Jacob didn't start school until he was 12 years old. His family kept him locked away at home because of his disability.

Sadly this situation is not uncommon in Uganda. 91% of disabled children like Jacob miss out on primary education.

Disabled children face daily discrimination that denies them their chance to learn, socialise and be a part of their communities.

Without vital schooling, they are left with low confidence, limited job prospects and little hope of becoming independent.

Motivation’s All-Stars Appeal will use sport and play to break the stigma around disability and ensure all children can be included.

My best friend’s name is Isaac and he is good to me. I like playing with him... I would like to feel confident to play sports.

Give before 3rd March 2020 and your donation to the All-Stars Appeal will be doubled by the UK government.

Our sports clubs will give disabled children the confidence to play shoulder to shoulder with their non-disabled peers.

Our teacher training will help to create schools where differences are embraced and everyone has the chance to learn.

Our mentoring will teach disabled children about their rights and empower them to build positive futures.

The All-Stars Appeal will help to level the playing field in Uganda for 270 disabled children, giving every child the chance to be a champion.

If you set up a Direct Debit gift before the 3rd March 2020, the UK government will match up to three regular donations.

Alternatively, you can send us your donation in the post by printing off this donation form and sending it to us at the above address. Credit/debit card, cheque, CAF or postal order donations only - please do not send cash in the post. Please make cheques payable to Motivation.

Every donation to Motivation’s All-Stars Appeal will support disabled children people like Jacob and Isaac by using sport and play to break the stigma around disability and ensure they can be included.

Your donation will help disabled people across the developing world to feel accepted, to champion their rights and to have an equal chance at building a positive future.

The match funding from the UK government will support our All-Stars project in Uganda.
