Build futures with a gift in your Will “The work Motivation does is simply incredible... I am happy to leave a gift in my Will to an organisation that I trust will spend it in the best way possible." -Antonia, Motivation supporter Have you ever considered leaving Motivation a gift in your Will? This special kind of gift offers disabled people in the developing world the chance to be independent, to be included in society, to build better futures. And enables our supporters to be part of Motivation’s next chapter. Antonia has been supporting Motivation for twenty years. “It was in 1988 that I started to understand the vital importance – and the problems – of wheelchairs. I made the acquaintance of a wheelchair user.” she told us. “The wheelchair enabled him to have an amazingly independent and incredibly busy life as a music tutor – his life was very public and with much travel… Alas, he died of an infection that arose from pressure sores.” After following our work and seeing the difference it makes to the lives of disabled people, Antonia made the kind decision to add Motivation to her Will. “The work Motivation does is simply incredible,” she told us. “And I am happy to leave a gift in my Will to an organisation that I trust will spend it in the best way possible. I am leaving a residual gift to Motivation – amongst a selection of other beneficiaries. Although this may not amount to much, I’m confident that it’ll make a difference… and I still live in hope of winning the £1 million Premium Bond prize!” At Motivation, we know that writing a Will is something very personal. It is an important way to make sure your loved ones are looked after when you are gone and presents a wonderful opportunity to celebrate something you feel passionate about. A gift to Motivation may cover the nuts and bolts needed to build a wheelchair, pay for an essential wheelchair training session or fund our design team while they explore new possibilities. No matter how large or small, your gift will transform the lives of disabled people in the developing world. If you are considering a gift in your Will, thank you. We really appreciate your generosity and kindness.
