Two new grants announced to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities to pursue active lifestyles through fitness and sports

CAF Access for Athletes

The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) is currently running their Access for Athletes grant programme. The programme is open until the 1st December to provide opportunities and support to people with physical disabilities to pursue active lifestyles through fitness and sports.

The Challenged Athletes Foundation believes that involvement in sports at any level increases self-esteem, encourages independence and enhances quality of life.

Through the programme applicants can apply for a Motivation Multisport (ideal for basketball or tennis), Flying Start (track and road racing), or another type of sports wheelchair or equipment, or even financial assistance for competitions and training. All applications must be made by individuals.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this grant, have a look at the application process for more information.
