What is Parallel London?

Now in it's second year, Parallel London - the world's first fully accessible mass participation push/run event - returns to London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 3rd September 2017.

Parallel London is a track event and open to all ages and abilities - this means that everybody can take part! To top it off, the park will also play host to a free family festival set to be jam packed with fun interactive attractions to keep everyone entertained!

This is not a timed event nor is it a race - it's up to you how much you want to push yourself. Everyone's a winner!

What you need to know...

There are five distances to choose from: 10km, 5km, 1km, Super Sensory 1km or 100m.

These challenges are totally accessible and, if extra support is needed, disabled participants can take one buddy to accompany them around the course - for free.

The price of each Parallel London place is determined by age and group size. If you book your place/s before the end of January you can save up to 20% on the standard price.

Why join team Motivation?

Today, it's estimated that 70 million people are in need of a wheelchair. Without a wheelchair, millions of disabled people in the developing world can’t leave their homes, go to school or to work. Many are left to lie on the floor. Many more die from preventable complications. Most live in extreme poverty. It doesn’t have to be this way. Our wheelchairs and services are creating a fairer society where everyone has the freedom to live, love, work and play. With your support - we can make this happen

How much do I have to raise?

...as much as you can! By raising £180, you could help give a child like Amanthi a supportive wheelchair that will change their life - for good.

1km for 1km...

Amanthi travels 1km to school everyday. Could you push or run the same to help children like her get the best start in life? Or even 5km or 10km?

If the answer is yes, let's get you signed up to Parallel London 2017!
